How to play Spin the Wheel

  1. Put your names in the panel on the right — or paste a whole list at once.
  2. Give someone better odds by turning their number up. A 3 gets three times the slice.
  3. Hit spin, or just click the wheel. The space bar works too.
  4. Won already? Use Remove & spin in the results box to draw without replacement.

Questions

Is the wheel actually random?

Yes. The winning slice is chosen with your browser's cryptographic random number generator before the wheel starts turning, then the spin is solved backwards so the pointer lands there. Nothing about the animation nudges the result.

Can I make one name more likely?

Turn its number up in the roster. A name on 3 gets three times the slice, and three times the chance.

Can I share my wheel with someone?

Press 🔗 Share in the roster panel. The link carries the whole list, so whoever opens it gets your exact wheel.
