How to play Battle Royale

When to use Battle Royale
A bracket is the right shape when the group is big and the draw needs a structure people already know how to read. Sixteen names become four rounds, each tie is settled as it is played, and the picture on screen tells the story without anyone narrating it.

How is each tie decided?
A weighted random pick between those two names only. Weight 2 against weight 1 wins that tie two times out of three.
Who gets the byes?
Whoever the draw gives them to. They are randomised every tournament rather than always landing on the end of your list.
Can I use this for a real tournament draw?
For the draw, yes — it is a fair shuffle. For the results, obviously play the actual matches.
